This ICOM Next B is a genuine BMW part. API is the official BMW supplier for independent service centers in the US. This diagnostic and programming tool connects with a USB cable (included) to an ICOM Next A. It is used with ISTA and ISTA/P and is compatible with BMW's Online Service System (OSS) and ISPI Next. The ICOM Next A connects to your workshop PC, ISID, or ISSS Next over a network connection.
The ICOM Next B connects to BMW vehicles with a MOST connector. See ICOM Next A for vehicles with the OBD connector and ICOM Next C for vehicles with the 20-pin connector.
